THE TAPSTER - a family run bistro

TAPSTER COMFORT

Run by husband & wife team, Mitch & Donna Spooner, The Tapster is a family bistro with leather sofas, log fires and a warm welcome. There is a large garden and a very comfortable interior for dining or enjoying a pint of real ale. Champagne is available by the glass, a selection of coffees, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The menu changes fortnightly as Mitch & Donna swap roles between kitchen and front of house.

TAPSTER FOOD

We specialize in high quality home cooked food, using only the freshest ingredients, nothing is bought in pre made. Local farms supply our meat, beef has been hung for at least 3 weeks, a local cheese maker supplies our cheese and vegetables where possible from local suppliers also. On all of our menus at The Tapster we can proudly state that all the dishes are produced on site. We do not buy in frozen or pre-prepared foods, so any variation you may wish to make is usually possible, please just ask.

We don't offer bar snacks. However, by pre-arrangement we can have sandwiches available for walking parties/ramblers etc.
